The Kids' Sex-Change Industry is Booming
Plus: Ghislaine Maxwell hires Harvey Weinstein's attorney and one state's social workers now asking parents if newborn babies might be "nonbinary"
Here at Elizabeth Johnston Ministries, we have been reporting on transgender treatments for children since 2017, and in this time period, we’ve seen the trend boom.
Although many “detransitioners,” as those who have undergone but ultimately sought to reverse such treatments are often called, have been sounding the alarm as to the long-term physical and psychological effects of this approach to medicine, the establishment medical industry still recommends such “gender-affirming” treatments for minors.
Now, a new report from the Daily Caller News Foundation highlights just how lucrative this approach is for doctors and hospitals, with individual reconstructive surgeries such as mastectomies, breast augmentations, and cross-sex genital surgeries as well as accompanying anesthesia running up tens of thousands of dollars.
“There is no question that financial rewards play a role in the adoption of gender affirming care,” Dr. Stanley Goldfarb of the organization Do No Harm and a former Associate Dean for Curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. “Hospitals and physicians generate substantial payments from insurers or self-pay patients when children enter into the transition protocols.”

Social workers in Pennsylvania appear to be required to note if a baby is male, female, or “nonbinary” on official demographic reporting for their cases.
Data collection forms for programs that use state funding to provide assistance to babies and their families no longer ask workers to specify a baby’s sex, but now list “gender” options including “Gender Nonbinary” as required by the state Office of Child Development and Early Learning.
"I have to ask clients, 'Is your 10-day-old male, female, or nonbinary?'" one worker explains, according to the Washington Free Beacon which obtained the government forms in question.
Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services, meanwhile, claims that workers are merely given the option to list a baby’s gender as “nonbinary,” and that workers are not directed to “verbally or explicitly” ask parents if their “children are nonbinary."
The outlet also notes that a review by England’s National Health Service, an entity which has been criticized for providing public assistance to “affirm” the “gender identity” of children, found that it is “not a neutral act” to expose little ones to these concepts.
While it often passes as “science,” gender theory is a distinct ideology that is rooted in ideas that oppose the biblical worldview. It is indeed far from neutral to, for example, raise a child from birth as though he or she is not made male or female, respectively.

Notorious sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell has hired an attorney who represented fellow sex offender and disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein to appeal her high-profile conviction.
Thanks to a settlement she has secured following a messy divorce from her now-ex-husband Scott Borgerson, Maxwell has reportedly secured the funds to hire the same firm that has represented Weinstein against his multiple charges for sexual abuse and rape.
“Attorney Arthur L. Aidala — who is representing disgraced movie mogul Weinstein in his New York appeal — confirmed to us that he filed legal papers on Friday to rep Maxwell in her planned appeal,” Page Six reported last month.
Aidala told Page Six that he believes the trial judge made “mistakes” in the Maxwell case and that she had been “mistreated” and “malnourished” during her incarceration.
