Everyone needs to know they have options. I was pregnant at 16 and scared to death and I didn’t know I had options until someone told me I did and it sure as hell wasn’t planned pregnancy. Guess what, I kept that baby against the baby‘s father and my friends in high school telling me to get an abortion. That child is now in his 50s and has turned out to be one of the biggest blessings in my life. Thank you, Jesus. 🙏
We need to stand our ground. (No matter what the cost). I think that is why Christianity is becoming so weak. We need to fight the good fight of faith in the Good news. Pro life not pro choice.
The tragedy of our times is that the right to life is not equally protected and secured for every child before birth as after birth, for the ‘unwanted’ as for the ‘wanted.’ The woman’s ‘choice’ continues to be elevated in pro-abortion states to provide what is misrepresented as an unassailable excuse for endorsing lethal mistreatment of these little human beings.
Had Blackmun consulted Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886), he would have found a unanimous Supreme Court decision written by Justice Stanley Matthews which is very pertinent to responsible interpretation of the inclusiveness of both the 13th and 14th Amendment. It determined:
"When we consider the nature and the theory of our institutions of government, the principles upon which they are supposed to rest, and review the history of their development, we are constrained to conclude that they do not mean to leave room for the play and action of purely personal and arbitrary power."
There is no permission here to draw from the 14th Amendment the judicial authority to confer on pregnant women a "choice"-- a “purely personal and arbitrary power” to destroy the right to life of their unborn children.
Such a conferral endorses power without responsibility. It authorizes purely personal and arbitrary lethal ‘choice’ without duty of care for our most vulnerable little ones utterly dependent through no fault of their own upon us, their mothers..

Abortion should be illegal - entirely. Full stop.
