Planet Fitness gets the "Bud Light treatment"
The "woke" gym's value is tanking after man snapped shaving in women's room
Planet Fitness, the gym chain famous for its promise to deliver a No Judgment Zone, is feeling the heat financially after a woman’s membership was canceled over a photo she snapped of a man shaving in the women’s locker room went wildly viral.
Fox Business is reporting that Planet Fitness has seen its value tank by $400 as consumers call for the company to get the “Bud Light treatment,” a reference to when the big name beer brand opted to sign on transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney for an advertising campaign and saw its sales plummet.
Earlier this month, gym goer Patricia Silva revealed on social media that she had been in the locker room when she and other women — including a 12-year-old girl, she said — encountered a fully grown man who identified himself as “queer” shaving his face in one of the sinks.
Silva snapped a pic of the “transgender woman” as Fox Business identifies him and when Libs of TikTok caught wind of Planet Fitness’ treatment of Silva (whose membership was canceled for violating a policy against taking pictures in the locker room), the story blew up.
This week, the New York Post reported that Silva has been told Planet Fitness has assigned a staffer to accompany the “woman” into the locker room, where he has continued to shave unmolested as the staffer is reportedly informing women they can “go in a stall” if they’re uncomfortable with the man’s presence.
Isn’t this a fitting picture of what is happening to American women? We are being told we can sit on the sidelines, wait in the stalls, and take second-place trophy if we have an issue with being made to share women’s spaces with men.

The proposed legislation would also require companies provide the means for parents to track and limit children’s social media usage.
Senate Bill 2097, the Protecting Children from Social Media Act, has cleared the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee and heads next to the full Senate, Just the News reports.
The legislation would also empower the state attorney general to hold the companies accountable with legal action as well as to recover costs for such action.
“The evidence is clear: social media has harmful effects for children, teens and young adults,” said sponsor and Commerce and Labor Committee chair Sen. Jack Johnson, a Republican.
“This legislation puts parents back in the driver’s seat of their children’s social media usage,” Johnson said. “It lays out clear steps social media companies must take to verify the ages of users to protect Tennessee children and empower parents,” he also said.
Friends, you don’t have to wait for your state to pass these kinds of laws to protect your children from the damages of social media.
We have reported extensively over the years here at Elizabeth Johnston Ministries on the ways that child pornographers and predators are teeming all over social media, and children are far too easily exposed to illicit, harmful, and horrific content at every turn.
There are many steps you can take to keep your kids safe, however, such as monitoring their screen time, parental control apps and screen time settings, etc. Elizabeth and her family love their Gabb devices which are designed to protect kids online (and our readers can save $25 with this link).
Meanwhile, we work to protect our own children at home, let’s continue to pray for lawmakers like those in Tennessee who are working to hold social media companies accountable for the threat they pose to the innocence of our children!

College athlete-turned-activist Riley Gaines is among several female athletes suing the National Collegiate Athletics Association over its gender policy that allows male athletes to compete against and share facilities with women.
The Christian Post reports that the Independent Council on Women's Sports is behind the lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of 16 athletes and accuses the NCAA of violating Title IX civil rights protections for women.
"By challenging the NCAA's draconian and discriminatory policies, we're sending a clear message: the integrity of women's sports is non-negotiable," said ICONS co-founder Kim Jones in a statement. "We are committed to defending the hard-won rights of women athletes everywhere. This isn't just a legal battle; it's a moral stand for equality and justice in sports."
Gaines has become a figurehead of the movement against incorporating men into women’s sports after tying with transgender athlete Lia Thomas at a widely reported swimming match that highlighted the advantage biologically male Thomas enjoyed over his competitors.
She has since revealed that she and her fellow swimmers were made to share a locker room with Thomas, who is a fully intact male, and former swim team members of Thomas have anonymously shared any concerns they voiced about his presence on the team where ignored.
"We're not just fighting for ourselves, we're fighting for every young girl who dreams of competing in sports," Gaines said in a statement. "I'm thankful for ICONS' commitment to our cause, especially their financial commitment, allowing us to take this to court. I urge anyone who cares about protecting women's sport to help get behind us."

I canceled my membership. It's disgusting for a man to be around children doing things the children's own fathers DON'T do in front of them.
