Kids cartoon features "non-binary" characters
Since when do animated characters introduce themselves with their pronouns?!
The animated children’s show “We Baby Bears” is set to feature characters who introduce themselves along with their preferred pronouns, including two who identify as non-binary.
The Christian Post reported that LGBT groups are hailing the inclusion of an animatronic box and a talking bird who profess to prefer “they/them” pronouns in the midst of so-called “pride” month celebrations across the western world.
“During the production of ‘We Baby Bears,’ a few crew members came out with they/them pronouns, and we felt that it was important to include that in the show,” the program’s creators told the organization GLAAD in a statement.
“Our show team values representation because it’s something everybody on the show deeply cares about.”
The Twitter account Libs of TikTok highlighted “We Baby Bears” in a less positive light, stating bluntly “they’re after your kids.”
The Post noted that this comes as several major brands in the US are facing pressure for their emphatic product endorsement of gender ideology, from Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney fiasco to Target’s inclusion of “tuck-friendly” bathing suits for men who identify as women.
Each brand is facing massive backlash from boycotting customers on the one hand and loudly vocalized insistences from the LGBT community not to back down from their support for gender ideology on the other.

A major Christian university has canceled an event with the men’s ministry Promise Keepers after the organization released a statement for “pride” month reaffirming their support for traditional marriage and views on sexuality.
"We will not stand on the sidelines and remain quiet. As fathers, husbands, grandfathers, and young men—we see the dangers of gender ideology and the harm it causes," the offending statement said. "At Promise Keepers, we believe it is more important than ever to stand up boldly for what we believe as Christians. God's Word is very clear on this topic—and we also see the way gender ideology has damaged lives, mutilated bodies, and torn apart families in our own communities."
CBN News reports that just two days before tickets for a planned event at Belmont were set to go on sale, the Promise Keepers say that they received an email from the school canceling.
The organization received an email from the school saying that "due to recent information we realize our values don't align with your values or something to that effect so we can't do the event here."
The event, which the Promise Keepers are organizing in a number of cities across the country, was titled Daring Faith and meant to be a “challenge for men of integrity.”
Keepers CEO Ken Harrison told the Edifi Podcast Network that Belmont told them the reason for the cancelation, ironically, was "the statement we put out a week before Pride week."
Harrison warned listeners that Christian colleges are not teaching Christ.

Florida Governor and GOP presidential primary contender Ron DeSantis recently said he’s “surprised” that his rival former President Donald Trump called a heartbeat law he recently signed “harsh.”
“I was really surprised because he’s a Florida resident,” DeSantis told CBN News’ David Brody in an interview, as LifeNews reported.
The former president was widely known as the most pro-life president in history, famously addressing the March for Life in Washington D.C., a first for a sitting POTUS. Since leaving office and eyeing 2024, however, Trump’s rhetoric has grown critical of post-Dobbs abortion abolition and laws like Florida’s heartbeat bill (which still allows some abortions).
“I thought he would compliment the fact that we were able to do the heartbeat bill, which pro-lifers have wanted for a long time,” DeSantis continued. “He never complimented, never said anything about it then he was asked about it and he said it was ‘harsh.’”
He was referring to comments Trump made last month when discussion abortion legislation.
“If you look at what DeSantis did, a lot of people don’t even know if he knew what he was doing,” Trump said. “But he signed six weeks, and many people within the pro-life movement feel that that was too harsh.”
When asked if he thought his primary rival was “too soft” on abortion, DeSantis said “I think so.”
“While I appreciate what the former president has done in a variety of realms, he opposes that bill,” he said. “He said it was ‘harsh’ to protect an unborn child when there’s a detectable heartbeat. I think that’s humane to do.”
