Women’s college volleyball teams refuse to play against trans-identifying male
“We are finally building momentum. Courage begets courage.”
The fifth women’s college volleyball team has forfeited its match against a team with a trans-identifying player, in a powerful display of courage against the aggressive agenda to destroy sex-specific spaces in athletics.
The University of Nevada Reno’s volleyball team released a powerful statement this week, forfeiting a match against San Jose State University and its star “women’s” volleyball player, who is a man.
“We, the University of Nevada Reno women’s volleyball team, forfeit against @SJSU and stand united in solidarity with the volleyball teams of Southern Utah University, Boise State University, the University of Wyoming, & Utah State University,” the team declared in a statement, adding itself to the list of universities that have refused to play the team with a trans player.
Reily Gaines, a former college athlete and now vocal advocate for women’s rights to sex-specific spaces in the sporting world, cheered the team’s decision and acknowledged they were the first school to “specifically cite fairness and safety concerns as reason for forfeit.”
“Incredibly proud of these girls. This is the way!!!” Gaines also wrote on X.
“Can we recognize how great this statement is? ‘We demand that our right to safety and fair competition on the court be upheld. We refuse to participate in any match that advances injustice against female athletes.’ Athletes defend themselves while the adults stay silent,” she continued.
Gaines was joined on the social platform by other prominent figures vocalizing support for the young women, including Nevada’s Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony (R), who offered his “full support and admiration” to the team “for their courageous decision.”
“We are finally building momentum. Courage begets courage,” wrote Seth Dillon of the Babylon Bee.
Amen to that!!
Imagine that as they go undefeated and into the NCAA tournament that is televised on ESPN the woke network. Then all the other teams refuse to play them and SJSU is the NCAA champion by forfeit.
Of course that means ESPN has no games to televise and the woke network that supports the male cheaters loses millions of money as it had no games to televise.
I am proud of the ladies hurting the woke ones in the pocketbook.
How many teams HAVE played the team with a transplayer? Wouldn't it look great if SJSU won the league title without playing a game?!
