White House’s “Progress” LGBT Flag Raises Concerns
Even some members of the gay community have criticized the flag
The Biden White House has ignited controversy over the last week after raising the new “progress pride” flag, a newer version of the rainbow banner that represents a wide array of alternative sexual lifestyles.
Some, members of the gay community warn, have dangerous implications.
The flag was hung on the South Lawn last weekend as part of the White House’s tribute to “pride” month, an occasion that was marked with a celebration featuring some topless trans activists.
Not only did this controversial celebration raise concerns, but the symbolism of the new “progress” flag itself may also have dangerous ideological implications, Gays Against Groomer founder Jaimee Michell warns.
"The flag represents to us an ideology, a political statement of indoctrinating kids and trans kids and pushing kids to sterilize and mutilate themselves," Michell, who is gay, told Fox News.
Gays Against Groomers is an organization comprised of gay and trans people who oppose the sexualization of children and the mainstream LGBT community’s often aggressive attempt to normalize its ideology.
Michell says that her group is “not a fan.”
“They just keep adding” to the flag, she explained. “And the more they add, the more you can see the actual gay flag, representing all the things we fought for and won, getting smaller and smaller."
