University set to display “satanic abortion idol" on campus
The artist created the pro-abortion statue as a tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg
A statue created to honor the memory of liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and a warning about threats to women’s “constitutional progress” is arranged to be set on display at the University of Houston, much to the understandable annoyance of Texas Right to Life.
The statue has been denounced by the pro-life organization as a “satanic abortion idol” for its eerie animalistic imagery and the artist’s stated intent to defend abortion “rights” and honor the memory of the late pro-abortion and radical feminist justice.
The statue was part of an exhibition created by Pakistani-born artist Shazia Siskander and co-comissioned with Madison Square Park, where it was put on display last year.
The multimedia work was titled “Havah,” which is Arabic and Hebrew for “Eve” and also means “air” or “atmosphere” in Urdu. The artist noted, “Eve is also the first law-breaker, right?”
The large-scale statue “Witness” features a gold, idol-like female figure wearing braids that coil in a manner reminiscent of Baphomet’s chimeric goat horns as well as a lace collar added to pay homage to Ginsburg’s signature courtroom style.
Her arms and legs curl into roots which Texas Right to Life noted gives a snake-like effect, and she stands suspended in the middle of a hoop skirt of sorts that was designed to resemble the dome of the Manhattan Appellate Courthouse.
Last year, Siskander told The New York Times that she chose to honor Ginsburg because she was a “fierce woman and a form of resistance in a space that has historically been dominated by patriarchal representation.”
“With Ginsburg’s death and the reversal of Roe, there was a setback to women’s constitutional progress,” she added.
The statue is set to be put on display at the Cullen Family Plaza at the University of Houston from February 28 through October 31.
Texas Right to Life, which invites locals to visit the campus on those days to peacefully protest the statue’s presence, notes that “Disobedience to God certainly should not be esteemed by society, much less lauded with a statue.”
“On the contrary, art should reflect truth, goodness, and beauty: three timeless values that reveal the nature of God. Art cannot have beauty without truth. Art cannot have truth without goodness.”

A Texas high school teacher has been placed on leave after videos and images circulating showing his flamboyant, feminine dress and social media posts about the “baby gays” he mentors in the school’s Gay Straight Alliance.
The video of Rachmad Tjachyadi walking among students in a hot pink dress and matching shoes for a school spirit day on February 14 went viral after being shared by the social media account Libs of TikTok.
The account later posted pictures of the same teacher wearing a tutu while instructing his students and also sporting a full Ursula costume from The Little Mermaid on campus.
“We are aware of the video and the staff member has been placed on administrative leave while the district reviews the situation, which is standard procedure,” the school district said in a statement. “It would be natural for our families to have questions about this situation, but because this is a personnel matter currently under review, there is no additional information the district can share.”
Social media posts also show the teacher posing with the student members of the school’s Gay Straight Alliance. The Christian Post notes that a profile bearing the teacher’s name and image commented, “I need someone who can teach my GSA Baby Gays how to VOGUE properly!! The GSA kiddos want to present voguing during a cultural festival at our school in a few weeks.”
The students are posing for Black History Month in front of a LGBT “pride” flag and a poster honoring Stonewall activist and drag queen Marsha P. Johnson, the founder of the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries.

Actor Kirk Cameron is partnering with BRAVE Books to create a children’s show that will offer a refreshing break from the sea of perverse and ideologically driven media our children are exposed to these days.
The series, set to be released later this year, plans to blend the "the timeless moral teachings of 'Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood' with modern energy, hilarious dialogue, animated stories, and surprise guest stars” that will provide “a captivating experience for children and parents alike,” a press release announcing the project reveals.
CBN News reports that the crowdfunded venture aims to begin production on a 20-episode series in the spring at Texas Filmworks, and will star Cameron along with “Iggy,” his iguana sidekick, who will be played and voiced by legendary puppeteer John Kirk. Leigh-Allyn Baker of Disney’s Good Luck Charlie will play “Creative Leigh” and other guest stars are promised.
Cameron, who has authored a book with BRAVE Books, has made headlines for holding public library storytime events to counter the rise of “Drag Queen Story Hour.”
"It's not just time to take back our libraries and literature. It's time to take back every area of culture that these animals have devoured," he recently told Fox News Digital, adding that "good families are looking for entertainment they can trust — stories that teach children biblically based moral values."
"Christian parents today struggle to find quality content that reflects their values and captures the attention of modern-day kids,” the outspoken Christian star continued. “Our show aims to bridge that gap by providing entertainment that is both wholesome and engaging.”
Cameron added that the show’s team intends to use the same model for independent success as the smash-hit series “The Chosen,” which like the summer’s shock success film “The Sound of Freedom,” was produced using crowdfunding as per producer Angel Studios’ model to evade the need for backing from an entertainment infrastructure that contradicts Christian values.
"We're not partnering with a big streaming studio or with Hollywood, because their money always has strings attached … We want to stay true to our core values, just like 'The Chosen,’” he explained.
