U.K. woman FINED for praying?!
In the United Kingdom, you can get in trouble with the law for praying outside abortion clinics
A pro-life British woman has had a second run-in with law enforcement after praying silently outside an abortion clinic, which is illegal in certain parts of the U.K.
The Alliance Defending Freedom’s released footage of activist Isabel Vaughan-Spruce’s interview with a police officer, who grilled her on her history of pro-life activism before fining her for praying.
“Are you here as part of an organized protest?” the officer asks Vaughan-Spruce, who replies in the negative, appearing to read a list of designated questions off a piece of paper.
“Are you part of a pro-life or pro-choice organization?” the officer asks. Vaughan-Spruce replies that while she is, she was not at the abortion clinic in that capacity.
The officer then asks if she is protesting, to which the questioned woman replies, “No.”
Amazingly, the officer then goes on to ask if she is “praying for the lives of unborn children.”
“That’s a little bit leading, but no I’m not,” Vaughan-Spruce replies.
After a few more questions, the officer asks, “Are you aware that there is a Public Space Protection Order in place here? Are you aware that you are breaching a Public Protection Order? Will you move from here to outside the exclusion zone?”
“I don’t believe I need to,” Vaughan-Spruce answers, adding “I believe I’ve got a right to be here.”
Ultimately, she was issued a fine by the officer for “failing to comply with the Public Space Protection Order and the Anti-Social Behavior Crime and Policing Act of 2014.”
The ADF confirmed that their client was indeed in the exclusion zone, but that she was not protesting. The initial fine was later reduced to a warning.

In just one of many examples of how radical left-wing ideology is rampant in today’s public school classrooms, tax payers in Pittsburgh are footing the bill for a program which purports to defeat white supremacy in math.
As Red State reports, the expensive initiative is clearly rooted in critical theory, the Marxist social theory that disguises itself as “antiracism” or “anti-oppression” but seeks to “disrupt” existing social structures it deems inequitable.
The Pittsburgh School District Board of Directors recently approved a measure to contract Quetzal Education Consulting to equip teachers on the topic of “antiracist math instruction” on the basis of the consulting firm’s “knowledge of anti-racist math pedagogy.”
Quetzal Education Consulting describes itself as “one of the leading innovators around the country when it comes to Antiracist Math Instruction.”
“We have impacted hundreds of teachers and educators around the country through our workshops, services and publications,” its website boasts.
Quetzal’s website bears all the marks of critical theory, such as the intent to “disrupt” racism, fight “colonization,” and reform the English language so as to be more “inclusive.”
“In order to disrupt any -ism -- particularly racism -- an effective consultant must know how to identify the power dynamics of a space, and then redistribute power to the folx who have been most deprived of it,” the website pontificates of the group’s dedication to fighting racism in the classroom.
Such an effort will cost the people of Pittsburgh $50,000, Red State notes.

Ohio state Sen. Michele Reynolds recently penned an opinion piece for the pro-life website Life News where she exposed Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’s history of racism and its ongoing legacy in the abortion industry today.
“Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was a eugenicist who systematically targeted ‘inferior races’ for decades. She opened her first clinic in a black neighborhood in Brooklyn,” Reynolds wrote. “Since 1973, this predatory industry has claimed the lives of 20 million black children in the nation. Ohio’s black women and babies have felt this evil year after year. And it continues today.”
She explains that while black Ohioans make up just 13% of the state population, black women account for 48.4% of abortions.
“Black babies in Ohio are six times more likely to be aborted than white babies. The abortion machine guarantees that racial and ethnic minorities remain perpetual minorities,” Reynolds charged.
“This is not healthcare – this is extermination,” she wrote.
“I do not accept that in 2023, we cannot do better than pit mothers against our children,” she also wrote. “Accepting the status quo is archaic and barbaric.”
The lawmaker highlights her opposition to Ohio’s Issue 1, which would codify abortion “rights” into the state constitution and, she explains, “opens potential floodgates that we cannot repair.”
“Late term-abortions will be legal, and health and safety protocols for women and children will no longer be standardized. Life and death decisions for a mother and baby will be made by abortion providers,” Reynolds explained.
The state senator also astutely noted the bottom line for all issues of life, whether you support “Black Lives Matter” or “All Lives Matter.”
“I firmly believe that this debate is rooted in a simple truth: everyone deserves equal protection under the law and the right to live,” she wrote. “We should be focused on defending the sanctity of life through the lens of love and compassion.”
