The Satanic Temple to Open Clinic for "Religious Abortion Ritual" in New Mexico
The clinic will be named after Justice Samuel Alito's mother

The Satanic Temple is set to open a clinic to dispense abortion drugs to those who wish to “perform The Satanic Temple’s religious abortion ritual.”
“TST Health's online clinic was launched to protect the bodily autonomy of our members,” a fundraising page for the clinic explains. “As part of our commitment to protecting our members' civil rights and ensuring that our religious rituals can be performed without government interference, the clinic represents one of the most important steps we have taken.”
The telehealth clinic will provide abortions to patients in New Mexico, where abortion is legal up to birth except in two localities that have banned the practice outright, as well as providing “information and resources” to patients outside the state or those traveling out of state “when available.”
“TST is proud to expand reproductive options for our members. This is just the beginning,” said Erin Helian, TST’s director of campaigns, according to Catholic News Agency. “We will remain steadfast as we continue the fight to uphold reproductive justice in the United States.”
The clinic will be named “The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic,” a reference to Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, who wrote the Supreme Court decision Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that overturned Roe v. Wade last year and enabled nearly two dozen states to further abortion restrictions and a few to ban the practice outright.

Sickeningly, TST offers by way of explanation for this tasteless choice, “Prior to 1973, doctors who performed abortions could lose their licenses and go to jail. In 1950, Samuel Alito’s mother did not have options. The clinic’s name serves to remind people just how important it is to have the right to control one’s body and the potential ramifications of losing that right.”
According to an obituary for Rose Fradusco Alito, Justice Alito’s mother, the woman was a devout Catholic and her son and his wife are the first listed among her survivors so it is very difficult to imagine that she would have chosen to abort him had she the option, making this despicable, mocking distortion of “religious freedom” all the more offensive and downright foolish.
The Satanic Temple, indeed, openly operates as an activist organization that seeks to leverage protections for religious freedom to do things like organize after-school “Satan clubs” at public schools, erect Baphomet statues on public property, and protect access to abortion.
Over in Idaho, members of the group plan to hold a “gender affirmation ritual” on the grounds of the state Capitol to protest a bill that would seek to prohibit transgender treatments for minors, as Fox News recently reported.
A text for the ceremony has participants affirm, "Thyself is Thy Master. I praise myself. I know myself. I love myself. Through self-affirmation, self-exploration and evolution I am able to become more of myself,” and "my body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.”
Sickening to say the least
