Radical Bill Pushing IVF, LGBT Agenda for Military Members Fails House Committee
“Infertility here is radically redefined to refer not to a physical deficiency but to a lifestyle choice.“
A bill that would broadly authorize funding for IVF and adoption services for members of the military and their extramarital “partners” narrowly missed being pushed through a Senate committee without debate or a stated budget.
Earlier this week, Republican Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma refused to give the required necessary consent to the Veteran Families Health Services Act, a bill that would have broadly expanded family planning for LGBT services members, significant others, and gestational surrogates.
Or, as LifeNews astutely notes, rather than encouraging family formation, the bill would “explicitly promotes the artificial creation of children outside of marriage.”
As the Veteran Families Health Services Act would extend IVF services to military members “without regard to … sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or marital status,” it would employ these services to “directly undermine the family and use taxpayer funding to create, preserve, implant, and destroy embryonic human life,” the pro-life platform’s Steven Ertelt writes.
“It even goes so far as to reimburse service members when they buy someone else’s egg or sperm. All under the alphabet soup banner of the rainbow flag,” he adds.
Lankford, for his part, took issue with the means through which the Democrats tried to push the bill through the committee, bypassing debate, as well its concerningly broad terms and lack of defined cost.
"It includes things like assisted reproductive technology, fertility treatments," he said. "It leaves the door open for future definitions for gene editing or for cloning and leaves us to the discretion of the secretary, whoever the secretary may be in the future."
We cannot overlook the thinly-veiled agenda to use the military to normalize a radical social agenda that deliberately manufactures and places children outside of the biological family unit — a real-world, present-day manifestation of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World.
The Biden administration will go down in history for its attempt to weaponize our armed services — and tax dollars — to this end. The question is, will they be successful? Or will Americans of faith rise up and resist this agenda with the weapons of spiritual warfare and peaceful, bold public discourse?
You decide.
