In the wake of the horrific attacks that have claimed 900 lives and launched all-out war in Israel, pro-Palestine groups and other left-wing organizations in the United States have issued their support for the bloodshed.
In San Francisco and New York City, rallies were held to issue support for Hamas, just a day after the terrorist group had launched its offensive against civilians and soldiers in Israel, killing hundreds of soldiers and civilian men, women, and children.
The “All Out for Palestine” rally was held outside the Israeli consulate in San Francisco on Sunday and chants of “Free Palestine” could be heard.
Similar rallies were held in New York City and other major U.S. cities, with some activists facing off against pro-Israel counter-protesters.
Meanwhile, Black Lives Matter Grassroots issued its emphatic support for the Palestinian people as Israelis were murdered by the hundreds.
"As Black people continue the fight to end militarism and mass incarceration in our own communities, let us understand the resistance in Palestine as an attempt to tear down the gates of the world’s largest open air prison," the organization, which represents several BLM chapters across the U.S, said in a statement as reported by the Washington Free Beacon. "As a radical Black organization grounded in abolitionist ideals, we see clear parallels between Black and Palestinian people."
"For lasting peace to come, the entire apartheid system must be dismantled," the statement continued. "The war on the Palestinian people must cease. We call on the United States government to immediately stop funding war and redirect the $4 billion in annual spending to repair the damage caused by U.S.-backed wars, military air strikes, coups, and destabilizing interventions against oppressed people around the world."
Graphics online also showed BLM Chicago using an image of a paraglider, like those who dropped in on a a festival in Israel to kill innocent civilians, to rally support for Palestine.
