Celebrity tattoo artist Kat von D, previously known for her affinity for darkness and the occult, recently shared a video of her baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Von D, whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg, took to social media last year to share that she’d cleared her personal library of books on Satanism and the occult.
"Katherine von Drachenberg, upon your profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in obedience to His divine command, I baptize you, my sister, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," her pastor declares in the video shared last week.
After being baptized, von Drachenberg embraced her pastor as onlooking friends and family members applauded.
The Blaze noted that one of the top Instagram comments on the video of this joyous moment was “HELL LOST ANOTHER ONE.”
Last year, the well-known tattoo artist also shared on the platform that she was throwing out books about spiritual darkness, seeking to surround herself with “love and light.”
"I don't know if any of you have been going through changes in your lives right now, but in the last few years I've come to some pretty meaningful realizations — many of them revolving around the fact that I got a lot of things wrong in my past," she wrote at the time. "Today, I went through my entire library, and threw out books that just don't align with who I am and who I want to be."
Hallelujah! The angels in heaven rejoice! And hell, indeed, has lost another one. Praise the Lord!

A major international sporting body has declared it “absolutely discriminatory” to allow men who identify as women to compete as women.
This came one week after England’s entire women’s team refused to compete in an event against a transgender competitor.
The globe’s international sport fishing body Confédération Internationale de la Pêche Sportive recently issued a letter to UK lawmakers to explain the decision, as The Telegraph reported.
"In line with the recent debates wondering around the question whether it is fair to let transgender [sic] participate in female competitions, we have finally concluded that this eventuality is absolutely discriminatory, especially in those disciplines where the physical strength can make a difference," the confederation’s president Prof. Ugo Claudio Matteoli wrote.
"Therefore, in the impossibility for CIPS to test the testosterone level at each competition and at each athlete, it is decided to prevent transgender athletes from competing in some female dedicated competitions since this moment on," the missive explained.
Matteoli noted that birth certificates may be required to compete in events "where a higher physical strength can help” if a competitor’s sex is in question.
A week before the confederation met in Rome to discuss this issue, England’s women refused to take part in the Shore Angling World Championship in Sicily because Becky Lee Birtwhistle Hodges, a man who identifies as a women, was selected as a competitor.
The international athletic community has been hard pressed in recent years to address the growing prominence of trans athletes and the question as to whether men who identify as women should be allowed to compete against women.

Supermodel and entrepreneur Kathy Ireland recently called on the American church to “wake up” to the realities of abortion.
Ireland gave the remarks at a pro-life gala and shared that she herself was not always pro-life.
“As a young adult, I identified as a pro-choice Christian,” she explained while accepting an award at the Life Awards Gala. It was decades after accepting Christ at age 18 that she began to oppose abortion.
“It just shows you the state of our nation. How does that happen?” Ireland noted.
“We’ve got to wake up our churches,” she urged. “We’ve got to wake up!”
Ireland also offered a message of hope for women who have experienced abortion, of which there are millions in the United States.
Pointing to her faith, the former model shared the redemptive nature of the God of the Bible.
“To the women who’ve had abortions — the estimation is one-in-four — just know that nothing is too big for God,” she said. “We bring it to him; we repent. He redeems and restores.”
