Kamala Harris advocated for “reducing population” to curb climate change

Abortion radical and current Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris pointed to population control to reduce climate change in a 2023 video that circulated on social media after her nomination.
Harris is currently serving as Vice President to President Joe Biden, who stepped out of the 2024 race just ahead of the Democratic National Convention and endorsed Harris to run in his place.
While giving remarks on July 14, 2023 at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland, Harris said: “When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water.”
The speech was entitled, “Combatting Climate Change and Building a Clean Energy Economy,” CatholicVote reports.
As the speech drew criticism at the time, the White House issued a correction to the official transcript of Harris’ remarks, crossing out “population” to replace it with “pollution.”
At the time, the account End Wokeness accused the White House of doing “damage control” after Harris “spilled the beans about the climate agenda.”
This did not do much to assuage a fresh round of criticism when the clip re-emerged on X this week.
Defiant L’s, an account that generally highlights he foibles of left-wing politicians, responded to Harris’ comments with the question, “When we do what?”
Patricia Heaton, an outspoken opponent of abortion and devout Catholic, answered the question by replying, “reduce population.”
Conservative commentator Graham Allen asked, “Did Kamala Harris just say she wants to REDUCE the population?”
“What exactly ARE [Harris’] plans for us if she becomes President?!” the account Conservative Brief asked, while another user noted that the Vice President “said the quiet part out loud.”
Who's surprised. Bill Gates has said that the perfect population count for the earth should be around 2 billion. That means 6 billion of us have to go! I remembered that when he was pushing the covid jab... Depopulation has always been a tenet of the Left. Fewer people, more control for the elite.
