JK Rowling Reported to UK Police for “Misgendering” Transgender Newscaster

The author is refusing to back down on her alleged “misgendering” of the high-profile trans “woman”

Author and dissident liberal J.K. Rowling is once again making headlines for her refusal to kowtow to the linguistic tyranny of LGBT ideology — and this time, she may be charged with an actual thought crime.

Rowling, whose high profile, unapologetic criticism of transgender female erasure has enraged progressives in recent years, has allegedly now been reported to local police in the U.K. for “misgendering” a man who identifies as a woman.

Red State recounts that the Harry Potter author originally posted on X that the U.K.’s first transgender broadcaster, India Willougby (born Jonathan), was “just a man reveling in his misogynistic performance of what he thinks ‘woman’ means: narcissistic, shallow and exhibitionist.”

Willougby later explained in an interview that he’s reported Rowling to the Northumbria Constabulary, which appears to be in his locality in the North of England.

“I'm legally a woman, she knows I’m a woman, and she calls me a man,” he said in an interview. “It’s a protected characteristic and that is a breach of both the Equalities Act and the Gender Recognition Act. She’s tweeted that out to 14 million followers.”

“I don’t know if it’s going to be treated as a hate crime, malicious communications, but it’s a cut-and-dry offence as far as I’m concerned,” Willougby said of the police report.

In a series of posts on X, however, Rowling hit back hard with her own suggestion of legal repercussions for what she described as Willouby’s “harassment” of her, explaining that she had already consulted attorneys as to this fact.

“'Man' is not a slur. I know a lot of you think the UN should intervene whenever women bruise your egos, but there is no human right to universal validation,” Rowling wrote of her confidence that the broadcaster did not have a case against her.

“Aware as I am that it's an offence to lie to law enforcement, I'll simply have to explain to the police that, in my view, India is a classic example of the male narcissist who lives in a state of perpetual rage that he can't compel women to take him at his own valuation,” she added.
