Indi Gregory's father says God used her to "expose evil"
The bereaved Dean Gregory has called the UK health system "diabolical"
An 8-month-old baby who died after the U.K. government ordered her taken off life support was laid to rest last week in Nottingham, England.
The Christian Post reported that the funeral was attended by over 100 people, including a delegation from the Italian government which had tried in vain to take the baby into Italy and treat her in a Vatican-run children’s hospital.
Indi Gregory suffered from an incurable mitochondrial disease, and the Italian consul in Manchester tried in vain to take jurisdiction over her case. The U.K. Court of Appeals dismissed the request while British lords shot down an appeal from her parents to have her taken off life support at home.
After his daughter was transferred to hospice and taken off life support, father Dean Gregory had shared that little Indi was “fighting hard.” The infant had stopped breathing but recovered, and spent her last moments on earth struggling for her life.
Canon Paul Newman of the St. Barnabus Catholic Cathedral read a eulogy during the funeral from Gregory, who honored Indi as a “true warrior.”
"She didn't only have to battle against her health problems, she had to battle against a system that makes it almost impossible to win," the bereaved father wrote. "Yet, it was her weakest point, her health problems, that distinguished Indi as a true warrior."
“I have now reached the conclusion that this was indeed Indi’s destiny," he continued. "God put Indi on this Earth with the mission to expose evil in the world. He chose her because she was strong, beautiful and special. But now this chapter of Indi’s destiny is over. Her legacy, however, has only just begun. I wanted to make sure Indi would be remembered forever and she will live on in our hearts and through our voices."
Gregory, who previously press that his mind became open to religion in the face of the evil that threatened his daughter, has also described the British health system as “diabolicial.”
"I am not religious and I am not baptized. But when I was in court, it felt like I had been dragged to Hell," he said. "I thought, if Hell exists, then Heaven must exist. It was like the devil was there. I thought if there’s a devil, then God must exist."

A man who identifies as a woman has been arrested by federal authorities over allegations that he made a number of violent threats against Christians, especially girls and children.
Jason Lee Willie, 47, was charged on November 7 with 14 felony counts over alleged threats he made online to shoot up a school, rape Christian girls “until they’re dead,” and inject people who wear crosses with HIV.
Willie, The Blaze reports, identifies as a woman and goes by the name Alexia N. Willie.
"We're out here walking into your school, shooting your children, and I'm going to tell you right now, I'm gonna be one of them and the FBI isn't gonna stop me, but I'm gonna kill your children out here," he said on an online streaming platform, according to the indictment, recalling a shooting in Nashville, Tennessee March when a woman who identified as transgender shot up a Christian elementary school, killing three adults and three children.
"There's a lot of transgenders out here that are tired of being picked on and we're going to go into the schools and we're going to kill their f***ing children out here, and that's the end of it. We're at war," he allegedly said.
Willie also purportedly claimed "I catch your daughters in them bathrooms alone, I am gonna f*** them. I mean I am gonna f*** f*** them until they're dead” on the video platform MeetMe, as well as admitted to being an “open pedophile.”
He also allegedly threatened, "I catch you b****es out here with a cross around your neck in that restroom, you better know we’re going to hit you with a f***ing syringe.”
Willie has pled not guilty to all charges and his trial is set to begin in January.

California Governor Gavin Newsom shied away from opposing any restrictions on abortion during a debate with fellow presidential hopeful and political opposite Florida Governor Ron DeSantis last week.
LifeNews notes that while Newsom labeled DeSantis’ support for a six-week abortion ban as “extreme,” he refused to directly answer a question from host Sean Hannity as to whether he supported any restrictions at all.
When Hannity asked, “should there be any restrictions on the issue of abortion that you support at all?” Newsom shied away, accusing the host of siding with his opponent.
The liberal governor said that late-term abortion ought to be “an extreme, extreme exception” which should be “up to the mother and her doctor and her conscience.”
During his time in office, Newsom has overseen the expansion of a state that was already radically pro-abortion. The stance is indicative of the state of the Democratic Party, which is aggressively pursuing no-exceptions abortions despite public disapproval for late-term abortions.
“Last night’s debate shocked the national conscience when California Governor Gavin Newsom refused to support any protections for babies in the womb,” said Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser following the debate. “Even when given several opportunities, No-Limits Newsom would not list a single limit he supports on abortion – not even in the seventh, eighth or ninth month.”
“This stunning declaration from Newsom confirms to the American people that the former Democratic platform of ‘safe, legal and rare’ abortions is now in the ash heap of history. Today’s Democratic Party stands for all-trimester abortions, for any reason on demand,” she continued. “That position is not only inhumane but wildly out of step with the nearly three fourths of Americans who want limits on abortion after 15 weeks when science shows babies feel pain.”
