Dr. Fauci says he doesn't "need" religion

"I think my own personal ethics on life are, I think, enough to keep me going on the right path,” Fauci said.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the recently retired head of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases who oversaw said federal department through the COVID-19 pandemic, has claimed in an interview that he does not need God.

"First of all, I think my own personal ethics on life are, I think, enough to keep me going on the right path,” Fauci, who played a central role in the government response to the COVID-19 pandemic, told journalist Katty Kay in a recent interview.

The notorious immunologist told Kay that there were a “number of complicated reasons” he is no longer a practicing Catholic.

He continued on to explain that “there are enough negative aspects about the organizational church that you are very well aware of."

Although Fauci said he was “not against” religion and he and his family have taken church sacraments, he feels he simply does not “need” it himself.

“As far as practicing it, it seems almost like a pro forma thing that I don't really need to do,” he told Kay.

The Blaze noted that Fauci has previously said that those who criticize him are "really criticizing science, because I represent science."

In reaction to his profession to no longer “need” religion, cultural critic James Lindsay noted on X, "He isn't just Science. He's Religion too."

"He played God once. Why should he have to take a demotion?" asked writer Stephen Miller.

Wisconsin lawmakers recently passed legislation to allow for “safe haven” baby boxes to be installed at fire stations and hospitals, as Live Action reported.

The life-saving devices serve as safe, surrender sites for newborn babies born to parents in crisis.

The law would require the baby boxes be placed in facilities that are staffed 24/7, such as fire stations and hospitals where fully-trained EMTs or medical workers are always present to attend to surrendered infant.

The climate-controlled devices are fixed to set off a silent alarm when a baby is placed inside, alerting staff.

State Representative Ellen Schutt, who co-authored Senate Bill 369, saw a need for the bill when a newborn baby was found abandoned in a field in her district over the summer.

“This bill provides distressed parents with a secure and anonymous alternative to in-person relinquishment, which will ultimately save countless newborn baby lives,” she said.

The bill now goes to Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers to be signed. If it is passed, it would make Wisconsin the 15^th state to use safe haven baby boxes.

Over half of the abortions in the United States are done using the “abortion pill,” a combination of drugs that are used together to induce an unborn baby’s death.

What is deadly for a baby can also be a horrific experience for the mother, who is often not informed that any complications can occur with the abortion.

As Live Action recently shared, a number of women have recounted their horrific experiences while losing their babies to the abortion pill protocol, with some even losing their own lives along with that of their child’s.

One woman shared that after taking the pill, she felt a pain like she’d never experienced and that blood was “gushing” out of her.

“I couldn’t wear a pad… nothing was able to absorb the amount of blood I was losing. The only thing I could do was sit on the toilet… for hours… bleeding, throwing up into the bathroom trashcan, crying and sweating,” she explained.

After she began to pass “lemon sized” blood clots, wondering if the first was her baby, she thought she was “dying.”

“This couldn’t be normal. Planned Parenthood didn’t ever tell me this could happen…. I decided that I would call them in the morning… if I didn’t die before then.”

Kimi Hemingway shared in her book, “Choice,” of her experience in excruciating pain, “screaming on the toilet while tissue, mucus, blood, [excrement], spilled out of me,” before she later collapsed, immobile, “excreting fluids I did not know my body had onto the wood floor.”

While the abortion clinic staff showed no sympathy, even laughing at her, an unaffiliated doctor later treated her for uterine and bladder conditions after she continued to bleed for three months. The doctor told her he’d seen the abortion pill impact women in the same way before.

Sadly, Holly died after taking the abortion pill protocol, so it is her father who shared the story of receiving a call that she was in the intensive care unit, where he found her “too weak to talk, pale complexion, puffy faced, and struggling to breathe.”

“We are doing everything we can for her, but she might not make it,” a doctor told Holly’s distressed father. “These things sometimes happen as a result of the pill.”

Holly died one week after she took the first pill, the same day she was scheduled to return to Planned Parenthood for a follow-up.
