Documents Reveal Air Force Hired Drag Queen for Bingo, “Glow Party” on UK Base
This is not even the first time the Air Force has been found to hire drag queens for on-base events overseas
As the nation’s military continues to be infiltrated by the radical LGBT ideology of the Biden administration and establishment D.C. complex, the Air Force has yet again been exposed for booking a drag queen to perform on a base overseas.
According to documents obtained by citizen watchdog group Judicial Watch, the Air Force spent hundreds of dollars to hire one “Miss Lexi Andrews” to perform at an “LGBT bingo” and “glow party” in June of 2022.
“Miss Andrews,” an invoice obtained by Freedom of Information Act request reveals, was paid a total of $400 of taxpayer dollars to participate in the event, which was organized by the 423rd Support Squadron at the United Kingdom’s RAF Alconbury Air Base.
“How on Earth is it appropriate to spend our limited defense dollars on promoting these sexually themed events for children and adults rather than on advancing the military’s mission,” Judicial Watch head Tom Fitton posited, as reported by The Daily Wire. “As we see in these troubling Air Force records, our nation’s military is being ruined by woke ideology.”
Judicial Watch obtained the documents while working with the organization CatholicVote Civil Action into the drag queen events organized by the Air Force — this isn’t even the first time such a story has made headlines.
As the Wire notes, documents also revealed the Air Force once hired a drag queen to conduct a “story hour” event for families on a base in Ramstein, Germany while the 86th Force Support Squadron held an 18+ “drag karaoke” event featuring a drag performer.
“The Department of Defense has once again proven that radical leftist ideology is more important than military preparedness and protecting Americans from tangible threats at home and abroad,” said Tim Huelskamp, the president of CatholicVote Civil Action.
“After an entire year of stonewalling, the DOD finally returned materials from just one command in one branch, which confirmed what we feared – that taxpayer funds were being used to promote drag shows and radical gender ideology on military bases, with full approval from Air Force leadership,” he explained.
