Democrat Staffer Filmed Gay Sex Video in Senate Hearing Room
Meanwhile, the media shifts focus to conservative media for reporting on the shocking story
A Democrat Senate staffer is out of a job after it was discovered he had filmed himself engaged in gay sex in a U.S. Senate hearing room.
The Daily Caller broke the story last week when it obtained the video of a then-unidentified staffer engaged in anal sex with another man on a desk in a Senate hearing room where lawmakers often sit to conduct hearings.
The video surfaced after being shared in a private online group for gay men who work in politics.
The Senate staffer was identified as Aidan Maese-Czeropski and has since been fired from his post in the office of Maryland Democrat Sen. Ben Cardin.
Cardin’s office has released a curt two-sentence statement in regard to the scandal, as The Blaze reported: "Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter."
The Blaze also pointed to the shocking spin legacy media outlet NBC News placed on the story with the jaw-dropping headline, “Senate staffer alleged by conservative outlets to have had sex in a hearing room is no longer employed."
Maese-Czeropski himself responded by claiming the story was a political attack.
"This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda," Maese-Czeropski wrote on his LinkedIn page before he was fired. "While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement [sic], I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace."
