College Installs Vending Machine Offering Morning-After Pills to Students
“You could get Doritos and Plan B at the same time."

George Washington University, one of the most prestigious schools in Washington D.C., now offers the morning-after pill to students in a vending machine.
The machine, which also offers items like tampons and Advil, is the result of efforts on the part of students, NBC Washington reported, who sought to make the medication easier to access in the wake of the Supreme Court overturn of Roe v. Wade over the summer.
“After Roe v. Wade was overturned, we felt a lot of passion in making sure that people felt supported on this campus,” student Neharika Rao.

“Getting something accomplished like this is kind of like a legacy for me, because I’m a senior, so I’m graduating, so now people will know, like, 'Oh, those girls did that,” Aiza Saeed, who worked with Rao to get the machines installed, told NBC.
She also joked that “You could get Doritos and Plan B at the same time” in an interview with The Washington Post.
