83-Year-Old Pro-Life Protester Beaten Outside Abortion Clinic
“I don’t know her name, but I put my attacker on my prayer list right away.”
An elderly veteran pro-life protester was assaulted in an unprovoked attack earlier this month as she sat outside an abortion clinic in a suburb of Washington, D.C.
Olga Fairfax, LifeSiteNews reports, was sitting outside the Takoma Park Silver Spring Gynecology and Family Planning center with a sign depicting the violent reality of what abortion does to unborn babies, when the assailant jumped out of a car and began hitting her.
The attacker held a can of black spray paint and, trying to cover up the sign, sprayed Fairfax’s clothing and skin.
The elderly activist screamed for help but was ignored by passersby who kept driving or walking to neighboring shops.
Finally, one man stopped his car and got out to help Fairfax, managing to subdue the attacker.
“For fifty years I’ve been in this war. Before this war is over, we ourselves will see our blood spilled on the sidewalk,” she said, still sore days after the attack. “It’s a war: God against Satan, good against evil.”
“I don’t know her name, but I put my attacker on my prayer list right away,” she also said.
