5th graders told "gender is how you feel" in educational cartoon
The Wisconsin Superior District school board has dismissed parental concerns about gender theory lessons in the past
Fifth and sixth graders in Wisconsin’s Superior School District are reportedly being shown a video purporting to explain the difference between sex and gender and defines the latter as “how you feel.”
The X account EndWokeness recently shared the video, ominously declaring, “They are coming for our kids.”
“Teaching kids to reject their bodies is evil. Sowing gender confusion is evil. Making kids feel like God made a mistake when they were born is evil. It’s time to stop humoring these sickos,” commented an outraged Kyle Becker.
Parental rights activist Scarlett Johnson, who shared the video to her X account last year, highlighted the fact that the cartoon features a child who tells a doctor to “hit the breaks” after he’s just finished telling new parents that they have boy and girl twins.
“The way your body looks on the outside is only part of the story,” the little girl informs the grown-up medical professional.
“Notice how the child corrects the adults, including the doctor, and schools them on gender fluidity,” Johnson commented on her post. “Gross.”
As BizPacReview notes, the Superior School Board voted against a group of parents in 2022 who had objected to the gender identity lessons their children were being subject to.
“Sadly, this chosen curriculum is one-sided, it’s favoritist, and it does not present a balanced view on the subject matter,” professor Brett Jones told the school board at the time, speaking on behalf of the parents. “Where there is no intellectual balance, the result can be nothing other than persuasion and indoctrination.”

The Supreme Court has lifted an injunction that protected emergency room doctors in Idaho from being prosecuted under the state’s near-total abortion ban if they performed abortions.
While Idaho has an exception in its abortion laws to save the life of a mother, the Biden administration challenged the state’s laws by claiming it violates the Emergency Room Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), that guarantees access to stabilizing emergency room care in Medicare-funded facilities.
As The Heritage Foundation explained at the time, the Justice Department argued that Idaho’s laws “would make it a criminal offense for doctors to comply with EMTALA’s requirement . . . where a doctor determines that abortion is the medical treatment necessary to prevent a patient from suffering severe health risks or even death.”
The government argues that to “stabilize” a patient means not merely to save her life, as would be legal in Idaho, but to preserve her health. Yet the Biden Department of Justice also confusingly argues that the state’s law prohibiting abortion in cases other than to prevent the death of the mother “will likely result in death for the pregnant person.”
As The Idaho Capital Sun reported, with the injunction lifted, emergency room doctors in Idaho are now subject to potential loss of license, jail time, and fines up to $20,000 in a criminal abortion procedure.
The high court will take up the DOJ’s challenge to Idaho’s law in April, LifeNews reported. The pro-life site also notes that this comes just after a federal appeals court blocked the Biden administration from the same line of attack against Texas laws that prohibit abortion.

Transgender activist Kendall Stephens, who identifies as a woman, was arrested and charged last month for allegedly raping two children under the age of 12.
The Christian Post reports that Stephens gained national attention after he was assaulted in his home in August of 2020, an attack which was considered to be a hate crime and led to Stephens’ activist work.
He was arrested in December after the two victims, 7 and 9, gave their mother a tearful account of the abuse.
An unidentified aunt of the victims told Fox 29 that she believes Stephens was “grooming” her nephews.
"She's a family friend who has been around since they were born,” she told the news station. "You had this aunt stature in their life and they’re thinking I don't wanna tell an adult because I don't want something bad to happen to Aunt Kendall."
"I feel like she was grooming my nephews…my nephews have definitely endured a lot,” she also said. "I don’t want her stature to be able to use this reputation and think that it’s gonna be able to get her out of this situation because what she did to my nephews is unbelievable.
Police say the family first reported the abuse in September after the boys told their grandmother what had been happening.
The aunt told Fox 29, "We were able to sit them down individually is when they broke down and cried and said everything that happened.”
When the women confronted Stephens, she says, he blamed the children.
The unnamed woman says that Stephens “didn't deny it to us, she tried to flip the story and say my nephew tried to kiss her first…he's 9 years old. No he didn't."
